Victoria & John

Hear about their love story in Victoria’s words:

“John and I, both Active Duty Officers, met while serving on 1BCT 82nd Airborne Division. John apparently attempted to get my attention but it did not work, fast forward a year later he, he reached out to me and we’ve been inseparable since then. Commitment to our family and profession makes our relationship special. Outside of that, we enjoy working out, traveling and watching technicolor classic movies at home.”

How did you know John was the one?

”Prior to our courtship, I was told by many that John was a careerist and that he planned on dedicating his life to service of our Nation. I saw it firsthand when we were colleagues. I knew he was the one when I saw him rearranged his entire life to make space for Brian and I. As frightening as it may have been for him, he said loosing me would’ve been worse.”

How did John Propose?

“It happened right before midnight on the 22nd of February 2017. John woke up in the middle of the night and started telling me how special I was to him and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I thought he was sleep-talking and so... I agreed with him, patted him of the chest and went back to bed. The next morning, he asked if I really meant to agree with him. I said yes and two days later, we eloped with two black silicon bands in downtown Fayettville, NC”
