Southern Charm with Modern Style

Springtime in Texas can be an idyllic setting for a picturesque chapel wedding. Bridesmaids in flowing sky blue, light pink roses, crystals suspended along the pews and vaulted ceilings filled with light were just some of the airy details that gave a polished yet breezy ambiance to Saedah and Torry’s special day.

“We met each other on a dating website, Plenty of Fish,” Torry said. “It was something in the way she smiled at me and for me, it was the way I responded to her.”

The couple tied the knot at Aristide, a venue nestled in the outer suburbs of Dallas.

“We picked this place because it was small and intimate,” Torry said.

The light-filled building and lush scenery made for memorable photos, while the large expanse of the hall relative to the number of guests created a simple yet chic look for the reception.

With a well tailored lace dress and matching veil and a dark blue three-piece suit, the couple exuded southern charm, and their wedding seamlessly blended modern and classic sentiments.

So, what’s the secret for creating a wedding day that appears so effortlessly flawless? A little help from friends - along with some patience. “Recruit as much help as possible, so that your wedding day can be as stress-free as possible,” Saedah said.

Torry advises grooms to “be available and patient with change.”
